International Equity Product

First Fiduciary invests in international equities through mutual funds and ETFs for its clients as an adjunct to our core large cap value investment service. 

Numerous studies have demonstrated that international equities offer the potential for enhanced portfolio returns while reducing overall exposure to risk. In addition, non-U.S. economies historically are not as highly correlated whereas U.S. multinationals’ performance is more aligned with U.S. stocks.  Furthermore, foreign markets account for almost 70% of world output and 56% of the global equity market capitalization. While we are committed to the conservative investment philosophy that First Fiduciary was founded upon, we believe that the diversification benefits will be attractive to some of our clientele.

Our approach includes using a blend of core, passively-managed and actively-managed large cap funds because of greater market efficiencies.  Those funds may be coupled with actively managed small cap and emerging market funds, hiring investment expertise that focuses on those specific areas.  We will monitor your investments for consistent relative performance as well as continue to evaluate better opportunities.
